About These Awards

freddie 2005The International Health & Medical Media Awards, known as the FREDDIE Awards was the preeminent health & medical media competition, for over 35 years, running until 2009. The competition celebrated excellence in medical programming and every year it attracted documentaries, TV series, short films, and other media from around the world. ITV has received more FREDDIE Awards than any other production company with 20 awards total.

Gracie-Awards-logoEstablished in 1965, The Gracie Awards are presented by the Alliance for Women in Media (AWM) and recognize outstanding women journalists, entertainers, and individuals who have made significant contributions to the media industry. The awards are named after radio and television star Gracie Allen.
