Early Breast Cancer
If there's one disease that women fear most it is breast cancer. But what most women don't know is that if breast cancer is found early, in stage one, it has a cure rate of 90 percent. In this program, we meet breast cancer survivors who tell their stories of how they went from the terror of the diagnosis, through the treatments and onto living their lives. We'll also have the facts: the best way to find breast cancer early is to have routine mammograms, every year after age 40, more often than that if you are at an increased risk for the condition. Plus, we explore the treatments and therapies that are making that 90 percent cure rate possible.
