The epidemic of Obesity has lead to a rise in Type 2 diabetes and this has been become a major health crisis in the United States. Type 2 Diabetes is responsible for a number of significant health conditions including kidney disease, lower limb amputation, blindness and cardiovascular disease that can result in heart attacks and strokes. But the good news is that there are ways to prevent type 2 diabetes in some people, and for those who have already been diagnosed there are ways to keep patients from developing those potential devastating complications.
