Dupuytrens Contracture is a slowly developing hand deformity that affects the connective tissue under the skin of the palm. In many cases the fingers affected by the disease can't be straightened and that can make even simple things like shaking hands, putting your hands in your pocket, or putting on gloves very difficult.
